Crosstown Autobody, located in Edmonton, Alta., is the first franchise dealer-owned collision centre to earn both Certified Collision Care and Mopar Certified Collision Repair Facility credentials. The facility has been operating for more than 40 years.
Certified Collision Care is working with best-in-class collision repair businesses that have met or exceeded the advanced technical requirements to become officially certified. In order to qualify, repairers must have the proper tools, equipment, training and facilities required to repair vehicles to OEM specifications and ensure a vehicle’s fit, finish, durability, functionality, value, and safety are preserved.
FCA Canada partnered with Certified Collision Care to launch the Mopar Certified Collision Repair Facility program. All Certified Collision Care providers are recognized by FCA Canada for having the qualifications necessary to be a collision repair facility of choice for its Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and FIAT vehicle owners.
“As the bodyshop of a large Chrysler dealership in Canada and part of AutoCanada, which is comprised of most vehicle manufacturers, we are able to invest in all the proper OEM tools, equipment and training that is essential to a proper repair. We continually invest in our business to ensure we stay up to date on the ever changing collision repair business”, said Gary Bridgeman, Manager of Crosstown Autobody. “We are proud to be part of the “Certified Collision Care” certification program, and the first dealer “Mopar Certified Collision Repair Facility”, as it demonstrates our commitment to ensure our staff has the resources and training needed to repair vehicles to OEM specifications.”
Certified Collision Care is rapidly expanding across the country, as it provides top performing collision repairers a way to gain recognition for their investment in their business and differentiate themselves in their market.
The program’s unique approach allows repairers to be Certified Once and Recognized by many, using a consistent turnkey system that eliminates redundancy in program requirements, repetitious inspections, and unnecessary duplication of costs.
