Good News Story of the Month: Stewart Auto Repair

This month, we connected with Jenna Werner, the general manager of Stewart Auto Repair in Winter Haven, Florida. Opening in March, 1998, David and Donna Stewart had a new dream. With a newly empty nest, they had a vision and a plan. They opened Stewart Auto Repair and it’s grown to become one of the most loved Collision Repair Providers in central Florida. Their daughter Jenna and her husband, Jason Werner, who now help run this body shop, pride themselves on the continued growth and customer loyalty they’ve received over the years. What started out as a dream and a 4-man team, turned into a thriving Collision Center with 32 members on staff almost 24 years later.

While keeping their solid ratings and reviews on Yelp, Google, Facebook, and other platforms, this body shop has retained it’s solid reputation and family name for years. Their continued customer loyalty has made it hard for big name vehicle repair companies to start up anywhere near them. This goes to show, the staff at Stewart Auto Repair doesn’t accept the standard service, but will go above and beyond fighting for their customer’s right for a correct and safe repair. “You won’t find another group of people who care more about getting the customer what they deserve,” says Jenna.

While it slowed for a few weeks at the start of the pandemic, Stewart Auto Repair is back to servicing an average of 130 vehicles monthly. By implementing virtual estimation, they’ve been able to safely communicate with customers better than ever.

Appointed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Body Shop Owner, David Stewart, has been a member of the Motor Vehicle Repair Advisory Council since April of 2019. As Automotive Collision Shops Representative, David’s council advises the department on situations advancing industry standards and practices that require his technical expertise and consultation.  Promoting consumer protection in the motor vehicle repair industry, the owner of Stewart Auto Repair has a valued voice when it comes to making changes in the favor of Florida’s everyday vehicle owners.

Through Assured Performance, Stewart Auto Repair holds a number of certifications including FCA, Nissan, Hyundai, and Kia. Being certified is one of the highest standards this body shop holds. “If you are truly dedicated to performing correct repairs, and already have the equipment, training, and discipline required, then it’s a no-brainer going the extra step to get Certified,” states Stewart.

Jenna educates by explaining that less than 4% of Florida’s collision centers even hold OEM Certifications. While urging others to do the right thing and to take pride in the work they do, Stewart Auto Repair is a strong advocate for certified shops throughout the state of Florida.

By using CollisionLink, Stewart Auto Repair has access to tens of thousands of OEM parts, and can improve the speed and accuracy of the repair process for your own vehicle. With customer safety and satisfaction being the top priority, Stewart Auto Repair offers Fully Documented Certified repairs. Meaning, you walk away holding a document that proves they followed the Manufacturer’s technical repair procedures to give you a proper repair while retaining the value of your vehicle. Instead of leaving the shop uncertain and worried you’ll have to come back, this document is the customer’s proof of safety.

Stewart Auto Repair has been turning heads now for over 2 decades. It’s popularity stems from word of mouth and it’s stellar reputation. Their mission statement promises to “exceed customers’ expectations by delivering exceptional quality and service through honesty, integrity, and professional excellence.” You can follow along and get more information through their Facebook Page
